The summer term holds lots of exciting topics and learning opportunities! We are looking forward to getting our final term off to a good start!
In English we will be learning about our literary heritage and picking apart the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. We will also be going on a school trip to the Queen Elizabeth’s Olympic park to support our writing of discussion texts. In Maths, we will be concentrating on our numerical fluency whilst exploring fractions, number properties, shape as well as solving word problems using various strategies.
We will be exploring living things and their habitats in Science. In Topic we will be finding out about the Mayan Civilization. We will be making Mayan style bread in design and technology. In Computing, we will be developing our understanding of robotics by using scratch. We will be promoting the British values through all the curriculum subjects, always making sure the children recognise the importance of tolerance, rule of law and democracy.
